VEGAS BABY!!!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to tell you about my short trip to Las Vegas. On Saturday we planned to go to a theatre meeting. But at 7:00, our hostmom came into our room and said "Hey, wanna go to Vegas?" And three hours later we say in the car 😊.  To be honest just the car ride there (about 4 hours) was so cool! We gt to see some really awesome landscape! Especially Nevada with the Colorado river and the mountains was really beautiful!

Vegas itself was pretty cool too. It's just really colorful and loud . 😊 

We went around in the city and went to some stores and hotels. On Saturday night we went to a Cirque De Soleil show! It was the Beatles show so everything they did was to Beatles music. Guys, it was magical! Unfortunately I couldn't take any pictures. But it really was amazing!! 

On Sunday we went to a zip line (Seilbahn). It's about 35 meters high and goes over a big street in Vegas. It was really fun, I'm just not sure if it was worth 40 $ 😊. But hey it's Vegas, right? 😉

On our way home we went to the Hoover Dam. That's a big dam (Damm) at the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada. For me, that was maybe even better than Vegas. It was just ... Amazing!  There are mountains all around it and a huge bridge over the river that connects Arizona and Nevada. It really is beautiful!

So, that was just a short post about my trip to Vegas. I hope you enjoyed it!

I'm alive and everything is awesome!

Hey guys!

I'm SO sorry that i haven't written anything for such a long time, but i honestly didn't have much time for it. As you can tell, I'm writing in english because otherwise I would get confused :)

I'm fine!! There is so much to tell you guys, but I won't be able to tell you everything. If you have questions about anything just write a comment or mail me :). 

Soooo.... let's start: 

The weather. It is hot. That's not really a surprise since I'm in Arizona, but it is HOT! It gets up to 43°C each day. But honestly it's not a big problem, because you're never outside really long. The bigger problem is that insde there's airconditioning everywhere, so it's really cold! I'm freezing everyday in school!
Which brings me to the next topic. School. I could write so much about the school here, because it's so different from Germany, but like I said, that would be too much. So just the basics. I have 4 subjects, that I have everyday. Forensic Science, where we learn crime scene investigation stuff ; American History ; Englisch and Psychology. Each class is 1 1/2 hours long, so school ends at 3 o'clock. I also have a bunch of homework, but it gets better :) The school spririt is awesome!! Our mascott is a viper (go vipers!!) I've just been to my first football game ever! It was really cool although I didn't really understand it... :) Oh, and I'm in Drama Club which is really fun!

I figured instead of writing five pages (i really could, but noone wants that, right? :) ) I will just show you some pictures that I took.

We just came back from vacation in Ohio and Washington, D.C. It was awesome! :) I think/hope I'll do another post about that soon.
